when I watch you wrapped up like garbage sitting, surrounded by the smell of too old potato peels or when I watch you in your old man's shoes with the little toe cut outsitting, waiting for your mindlike next week's groceryI say when I watch you you wet brown bag of a woman who used to be the best looking gal in Georgia used to be called the Georgia Rose I stand up through your destruction I stand up

What is poetry?

Poetry to me is a way to to express your feelings without being cruel. You can say just a sentence, which explains a whole paragraph. It can be in so many diffrent forms to. It can be about whatever..Love, Heartbreak, Friends, etc. Butto me its one of few of the ways I can escape and do whatever I want to do.

Poetry Connection Duuudzze

I read The Eagle. This poem seems to symbalize a powerful creature, but even though he so powerful and strong, he still has weaknesses.

"Close to the sun in the lonely lands"

This poem seems to represent most every person, they may very strong in certain areas, but some areas they may fall into some very weak catigories in which other people may be strong in. But in other context, this story may symbalize that people that may be great leaders can be seperated from the croud and thought of below the rest of the croud.
